Maya Kruger is a psychotherapist, trauma specialist, and mother who understands that when a child is struggling, the entire family system feels the impact. As the founder of Overture Therapy, Maya specializes in the complex journey of motherhood, helping women navigate the "choppy waters" of identity shifts, generational patterns, and the intense emotional overwhelm that often comes with parenting through crisis.
Maya brings a unique, creative approach to healing. With a background in Drama Therapy and extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic work, she helps moms move from a state of constant "fight or flight" and hypervigilance into grounded regulation. She recognizes that for moms in the Hopestream community, the weight of a child’s substance use or mental health journey often brings old wounds and family patterns to the surface.
